. Geographical environment and Location

    Sansia Elementary School located in Sansia Township, Taipei County, which is established in B.C 1969. It is situated in Sansia village, by the Sansia stream, closed to the zu shih Temple. Sansia Elementary School is a school whish has more than one hundred year’s history.

    There is an avenue in front of the front door of Sansia Elementary School, and our school is surrounded by the administration office, including post office, town hall, health center, police station, hospital and farmers’ association. Sansia Elementary School is a school which has both students’ studying atmosphere and the natural scenes.

Getting around

    Transportation in Sansia is focused around the highways that run through it. The main roads that link Sansia to the rest of Taiwan are Provincial Highway 3Taipei-Sansia-Daxi, country highway 110Xindian-Sansia-Yingge, and National Highway 3the Second Northern Expressway.

    By Rail-

(1)    Take the train to Yingge and the take a Taoyuan bus to the station of Sansia Elementary school.

(2)    Take the train to Shulin and then take a Capital Bus or route 702 to the station of Sansia Elementary School

      Turn off the Sansia Overpass from the Second Northern Expressway

Sansia Elementary School Characteristics

1.      Encourage teachers to elaborate their abilities in their classes, and make good use of morning class. Develop classes’ own features, and also help students to inspire their multiple-intelligence, increase their multiple-knowledge to enrich their learning environment.

2.      Engaged in reading activity positively, and set up each class’s own book corner, also encourage parents to read with their children.

3.      Develop various kinds of club activities, including chorus, flute club, recorder club, track and field club, volleyball club, Ping-Pong club, kickboxing club, dancing lion team, boy scouts club, and so on.

4.      Put life curriculum, recourses recycling, battery recycling in to practice, and expand the idea and attitude of helping the community. Set up the system of hearted-angel to help low grade students to do their beautification in the morning, and also have students to be angels to help protect our environment. On the other hand, we also have activities such as to donate the invoice to the people who are in need of help.

5.      We are the volleyball-centered school, so we have already integrated the volleyball curriculum into school-based curriculum.

6.      Integrate our rich resources along with our environment into the special curriculum in the school, including geography, science, humanities, history, also arts to set up a compete, systematic learning structure.  

7.      To put the function of Committee of School Curriculum Development into practice, and elaborate people’s ideas and abilities to edit the “Illustrated Handbook of School’s Planet”. Also, we design “The Local Map” and finish it, and the edition of “Local, cultural, literature Ecology Material” is on progress.

8.      Cooperate with National Taipei University and National Academy Educational Research Preparatory Office to promote teachers’ professional ability effectively.

9.      We have strong team of volunteer to help in traffic control, library, resource classroom, ping-pong training, recorder training, kickboxing training, environment protecting, and social education, etc.

10.  To urge teachers’ and community’s book clubs, community’s chorus, and various activity in communitypainting, cloth dying, introduction of tai chi, poem singing, computer, English, parent-kid education, and so onto promote the quality of community culture.

11.  Open the resource in the school to share with the community, intimate teachers, and good interaction with community. Also, we gain lots of supports from everywhere.
